Text Message SCAM
SCAM: These people called a very elderly and confused relative claiming to provide call barring services and asking for her debit card details to charge her £89. After the call she realised she had been scammed. There are 113 companies registered at the address they gave.
An unsolicited call on this number (though we subscribe to Silent CallGuard) saying they were "--- Fine Wines". I jumped in to say neither of us drink (true) and he said "its not about drinking, its about investing in fine wines". I replied that we had no interest whatsoever in that, and he ended the call.
