Called my wife about 30 mins ago, claimed to be from Apex Choice Services, we have never heard of them and to our knowledge they should not be contacting us so my wife just hung up on them. They didn't ring back so assume it was either telemarketing or a scam.
This foreign sounding person asked my wife for me , but when she told him I was out he asked her for me to call TalkTalk, some chance of that as I always treat this kind of call as a scam and have put this number on my blocked list
Accident Expert Law supposedly got my number from the Road Traffic Accident Department, and wanted to check if I had had an accident in the last two years.
They didn t know my name which wasn t a great start, they hung up when I asked how they had actually got my telephone number.
So I rang back and asked to talk to the manager - Maxwell Anderson - a man who has the unusual ability of being in two places at the same time, on one line in the office and also out of office.
I ve called them ten times,
07537180501 "HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you..bla..bla..bla"
This is up on HMRC page with a warning NOT to engage. It s a scam, they seem to be targeting the elderly in particular (I m 63 cheeky things). My call was a recorded voice, a female and did not speak with an English accent. My advice, put the phone down and get on with your day.
