Just rang my mobile, could hear voices in the background when I answered but they hung up without saying anything.
SCAM Foreign accent - hard to understand, but (to me) obviously naughty and untrustworthy. SCAM ARTISTS. ILLEGAL COLD CALL AND MOST UNWANTED COLD CALL

Somebody called me claiming to be from Vale of White Horse Council asking about electoral roll, knew my name and was I at xxxxxxxx, xxxxx quoting my address. Told them I wouldn t verify anything and to send me a letter. Vale of White Horse is in Oxfordshire but they were calling from Birmingham, when i said why are you calling me from Birmingham, he said something like. I m calling from Newbury or somewhere, sounded dodgy so I ended the call
