Rang saying getting cheque for 3K for PPI but wanted ?300 gift card before handing money over. They rang several times to ask if got card so when wife home she answered and asked for company registration number from vague response was clearly a scam to get money.
These are people who commit identity fraud. Do not provide them with any details whatsoever.
