SCAM Annoying scam call from someone claiming to be from the Motor Insurer's Bureau. Obviously a bogus call, I was called by 'Daniel', I asked where the office was based and he said it was in South West London. I asked why the number was from Birmingham and he said that their computer just generates a number for them. I asked for an office address and the location he gave me was for a cafe on Darrets Lane.

HMRC do not communicate like this, and my tax affairs are in order. I rang the number back in an attempt to see if anyone would reply with a name, but no one picked up
