Asked to speak to my mother by name who has passed away. I asked where they are calling from and the line went dead. nI called the number back, but it is a neutral line?

They always hang up and it is incredibly disruptive especially if we are on call.
Something or another solutions yet another accident helpline...block and report as spam if you can and do NOT ANSWER.
Call center. Said name was Martin from the Rethink Energy Company, wanting information about the house. Claimed had been asked by energy companies to contact households in my postcode area. I said if I wanted advice I would seek it myself, not from a company I didn't know. Internet search shows that there is a Rethink Energy Ltd, but no Rethink Energy Company.

Have had two calls on my mobile from these people, both asking for me by a different name. Then it turned out they claimed I had asked for a quote for car insurance (I don t own a car). So I searched under the number and found these comments. Can ignore them in future.

They call and ask you for a one time payment to support a magazine to go into schools regarding bullying. ONCE. ONE TIME ONLY. You do not sign a contract, you do not enter into an agreement. They then persistently call you and ask you for more money as apparently you have entered into a contract. SCAM Indian accent lady claiming to be from Virgin Media and going straight into a pitch on how they have noticed a router being slow. When challeneged for proof that they were who they claimed to be, she ended the call.
