In my previous post I reported this number 01422861783 as a hoax. I must apologies to Adil Quddues as his call was legitimate. He was acting as a 3rd party on behalf of Lloyds/Halifax in relation to a rebate for inappropriate feature charges on an account. I would not accept an incoming call from a bank so he followed up with a legitimate letter from Lloyds. If they had sent a letter in the first instance it would have been much easier to accept in confidence.
This number and one ending 6578 have phoned 6 times in the last couple of days. I never answer as I don’t know the number but it’s pretty annoying all the same.
