The person who called had a very strong foreign accent and said something about discontinuing my phone line and emails. Couldn't make out what he wanted and stopped the call. To verified the number, I called back and I had the "unobtainable" sound. Clearly, the call was a SCAM. BEWARE. DON'T GET INVOLVED.
Silent call

Then asks about the brand of washing machine you are using, Is it Hotpoint, is it Indesit etc, trying to lead you into saying "YES". Claims to be researching the preferred brand, if this was the case then why so many questions about your personal details. I ve told them several times not to contact me I dont own a washing ma

Cold call, annoying at this stage, but possibly a scam. Caller presented himself as a Tailor, then trying to make a link to professional contacts and trying to arrange a meeting in person. Hangup very quickly when explained I had no interest.
I received a call from this number this morning. The caller had my name. When I asked who was calling, the man stated that it was Direct Claims Group regarding the minor accident I'd had. I replied that 'You must mean the minor accident that I haven't had!' and told him to get off the line. When I checked Companies House records, there were two companies called 'Direct Claims Group'. One was dissolved in 2018 and the other in 2019. So the call was definitely annoying and probably suspicious.
