I was called by this number at 08:18 this morning by someone claiming to be "Amazon Prime" (recorded message) and invited to be transferred to cancel a subscription ('press 1'). The person then asked for my details and, when questioned, told me that it is not possible to contact Amazon directly or my bank over this. The conversation stank so I discontinued the call.

They rang I missed the call no voicemail left. I'm guessing it's a scam beware and be safe.

Called today on this (Neath) number claiming to be Geoff from o2 ...in broken English, with a very strong accent and barely understandable. When I said it was a very bad line he cut me off and called straight back on 01382 858017 (Dundee, Scotland). When I asked him how he could call me from both Wales and Scotland he hung up.

Got a call claiming to be from BT Openreach saying our IP Status had been changed from Private to Public and our internet was going to be cut off. It was a very poor quality line in a foreign call center. They weren't able to give me any other details so I ended the call.
