SCAMMER pretending to be "BT Broadband" (Varch Glibbet) Threatening to shut off my broadband connection Called my number at 13:16 on 3/5/2017 Always ask them what your external IP address is - if they don t know, then 100% it s a scam. (posted on tellows.co.uk) DO NOT deal with these people in any way - and always give them FALSE information, and NEVER EVER let them connect remotely to your PC - they will probably ask you to download software from a link they give you - NEVER NEVER do this!
A person started to talk and try to convince me to start using vodaphone i said i dd not want to and that i would not go to a different provider. than the automated calls started

Very dubious con artist trying to advertise something, I never got to what because I challenged him - he had my old business name, several yrs out of use, didn t know my real name but when challenged claimed that he had just wanted to book an event with me, flustered me for a little bit but no.. complete con to get details from me, he did a runner in the end... avoid!
Call from a SCAM gardening & landscaping firm who send round a team (family members) who will not go away until paid large sums of money. My mother paid them nearly £600 for about an hourwork with a chainsaw cutting down healthy trees. They demanded payment in cash & took her to the bank to collect that. I reoprted the offenders to Greater Manchester police who refused to take action.

Female caller, Indian accent, gave name something like Mindy, claimed to be from Talk Talk. Obviously long delays between exchanges, nothing like usual UK call quality.
