here is evidently another round of these tiresome calls, claiming to be from a law firm , regarding an alleged minor car accident. From the accent, it is probably from the Sub-Continent and clearly rather sadly fraudulent. Ignore all protestations to the contrary.

I ve had several phone calls from this number over the last few weeks. Indian man, tries to get you to confirm your name and address, your postcode, age etc which I have always refused. Then asks about the brand of washing machine you are using, Is it Hotpoint, is it Indesit etc, trying to lead you into saying "YES". Caller fraudulently advised he was from my bank, wanting my security details, which I declined to give. He advised he was cancelling my debit card, and could not send me a new one without those details, and that a fraudulent purchase had been made with my card. Hung up, and phoned my bank, who advised it was an attempt to steal my card details. Beware, never give out details unless you have made the call to a verified number.Fraud
