SCAM First they said that they were this company Network Security, so I put the phone down. Next they rang back and said they were from BT. So I put the phone down, next they rang back and I was threatened with the police as I was supposingly helping hackers, so I told them to do it and I will tell them about these calls. So I blocked the number.
It's the Institute for Engineering and Technology.

says they are o2 but ask me for bank details! think it is a con.
Caller with indian accent gave a fake name and claimed to be calling from BT Broadband. He said there were hackers using my wifi according to messages on their server. He then tried to scare me in to giving him access to my computer. He was obviously trying to scam me as I don t have an account with BT. He hung up on me when I wouldn t let him access my computer.
