I was called on Nov 3, 2020 and a machine voice told me to press 1 otherwise I would be arrested under a tax fraud. Now I am sure that I did not commit any tax fraud. I leave that note here but keep searching on the internet whether this number is a scam.

missed the call ,got an automated voice message from "Self Isolation government team" and they said they will call back tomorrow my assumption it's just a scam because the number refers to Scottish Young Carers Services Alliance. c/o Carers Trust Scotland nothing to do with self isolation, but the q is : how could they know that I am supposed to self isolated ?

TAXES / HMRC - recorded message on line telling me I was found to be committing to evasion fraud against hmrc. And to press 1 for more information before criminal proceedings start. I held up at this point.
An Indian with bad English claimed to be with benefits agent stating they were stopping benefits claiming I was making fraudulent claims , when I challenged him and who they are, they hung up.

The people are a persistent lot as called 4 times in the same day. Glad I returned their call though as their client, PDR Construction, needed a job pricing urgently. The guy took me on-line, shared his screen and walked me through the drawings before I agreed to price it. Just spoken to PDR QS, nice bloke, looks like I’m the only one pricing and it starts in 3 weeks. Happy Days!
