Phone number was local to my areas number, he had a foreign accent, speaking good English, and he asked who I was, not very politely, so I fired back at him who HE was. He wanted to know why I kept calling his number!? At that point I just hung up. I don't know if it's a bored student, or whatever, but I've had this twice this week. So I suppose I'm just putting this out there in case anyone else has had the same, or to just be aware of prank calls doing the rounds... ✌????????

Had calls from this number on 3 occasions in the space of 2 hrs to have who ever it is hung up when I answered the call. I have no idea who it is but it's annoying!

2022.07.18 at 13:37 my phone showed ‘International’, with the number 0049 1375 381293, which looks like it came from Germany (0049), but with a local code that was the same as my own ((0)1375)... anyway a recorded message claimed it was from 'bank security', that two large withdrawals had been made on my account, inc one from Amazon, and that I needed to press a particular number to speak to them. This is obviously a SCAM and an ATTEMPTED FRAUD..
I was called by Sarah from First Call saying it was not a sales call but was ringing about a road traffic accident. She then went on to ask if I had reported a road accident. When I responded that surely she should know the answer if that was what she was ringing about she ended the call. Seems they are a bunch of chancers hoping to hit on someone who has actually had an RTA which I haven t. Number now blocked. I am TPS registered.
