From looking the number up and finding all these comments saying Vanquis - i called Vanquis up asking why a debt collecting agency is harrassing me when I paid off any money oweing last year and wrote a letter of cancellation LAST YEAR! I dont even have a valid in date credit card with them - how could I owe money?! They obviously havent closed my account! I said No and she promptly hung up - didn t get to ask whether she had the right person or where she got my number from. When they rang me I told them I HAD been in an accident, but it was my fault and I caused the death of 4 people. They stammered a bit then I asked them could they help me with this! They hung up.
