This number calls several times a day, but hangs up prior to being able to answer. When you try to call back, you have an Asian female who just giggles and will not state which company she is calling from. Bellends rang this morning on a bank holiday. When I answered, it seemed to ring at their end then their was a slight pause after which I could hear some background noise like it was a call-centre before it was terminated.

I called NatWest on their official telephone banking number who confirmed that this is an automated fraud prevention text alert. It was used to verify a suspicious transaction on my account with a simple Yes or No reply to the text. They state they will never ask for personal details on a text. Genuine number.

Be carefull They use different numbers!! They give you a return number that is invalid. Waste their time - keep them on hold as long as possible. Then block their number.
