SCAM: 2nd identical call today, but from a 'different' number. Automated female voice saying it was my ‘internet provider’, and I had missed a call from them. (It’s not, and I haven’t because I’m here all the time!) Apparently there’s been some ‘illegal activity’ on my account, and my internet will be disconnected within 24-48 hours. Have had calls from this number almost every day ,sometimes twice a day,despite my phone being able to bar certain calls i still get a message to say i missed a call from this number, you would think the idiots would stop by, its been 3 months since my first call.

Silent call. Enough time for me to say "Hello" twice with a pause in between, then a buzz followed by disconnect. Sounds suspiciously like an auto dialler not connecting through to the operator at the other end, or a spoofed high cost return call scam. Either of these are not good!

This number rang today but hung up part way through the answerphone message. After reading comments here and elsewhere, I rang and asked for our number to be removed from their database. The guy I spoke to was happy to do this and also happy to tell me that the third party from whom they receive numbers is Communications Avenue. Looks like these are the people we should really be shutting down. A quick Googke shows that they re based in Newark.

Every day for the last week I've been receiving numerous text messages about deliveries supposedly mine from DHL. They're definitely not mine! I'm always asked to click on a track and trace link which I don't because it doesn't look right coming from a mobile number, Also receiving daily calls from the same mobiles starting with 07964 378 with the last 3 digits always different. I'm sure this must be a scam.
