Hi, I got a text from this number (+44 311 46) which had my name on it and it’s from someone who I don’t know and the number I don’t recognise. May be dangerous but more times than not I don’t answer numbers I don’t recognise.

I was called this morning by a lady saying that she is from the pension office. She asked whether I had private pensions and whether it would be possible that somebody would see me face to face to go through my private pensions. I asked her to write me an email, however she said they would not work like this. By this time I thanked her and said good bye. Not serious at all! This number called my mobile and I returned the call from my landline and withheld my number. They said that they had in fact received a call from this number (I withheld the number) I found this strange that someone was in my house and called them, must have been my dog that called her?!? She said was it to do with gas? I think this is a scam telephone number.

accident claims scammers; this number appears with a host of other 0114 and 0113 numbers all owned by Fuse 2 Communications Ltd - as the registered owner, they can take action to stop this calls but have been very reluctant to do so; really disappointing.
Save it to Contacts and name it Nuisance or something more appropriate. When it rings you will know not to answer it. If you ignore it enough it will stop.

HSBC- sent me a text stating that a new device had registered onto my account, with a link to a website, I did not click on the link as I do not have nor has anyone else within my close family had an account with this bank, as I did not click on the link I am unaware to possibility of the link being harmful, all I will say, if you do not have an account with this bank and do get a text like myself do not click onto it, there is a high possibility it could be a scam, or a general mistake on the banks behalf
