This number purports to send messages from Gov.uk, offering energy rebates. My wife pays the electricity bill not me so I was very suspicious when I was saved for my energy company and then the card details with which the company was paid. Pretty sure it is a scam
SCAM - Claimed to be Vodafone and Carphone Warehouse claiming to offer deals unavailable online for new iPhone contracts. Hung up when I asked to call back, checked with Carphone Warehouse directly and they confirmed it was a scam.

This company calls and asks for numerous different people . I have called back three times asking for them to remove my number and yet today they have called twice again . Hi guys.. We all keep getting these calls!! I know its annoying, illegal, upsetting, etc.. I get probably 5-10 on a daily basis, ranging from PPi, boilers, hearing aids, accidents and many more! When you tell them ur not interested, this is the worst thing you can do, because they WILL NEVER DELETE YOUR NUMBER!! They gets commissions just for contacting you!! So this is what I do now.... I was called from this number this morning. A recorded message supposedly from HMRC “if I don’t press option 1i will be arrested shortly”. Didn’t press 1 and ended the call.
called where i work this morning. Really rude man on the line telling me he wants to find hidden commission in our utility bills. when i said our accountants are on with doing it he cut me off and said they wont be getting what he can get us. would hardly let me speak and when i could he corrected me every time although i was repeating what he had said. in the end he said "what a rude person" and hung up. dont answer to them it will be scam.
