I also get lots of calls from this number. I asked the nature of the company and why they are calling me for. The chap normally gets very aggressive repeating to me over and over that I am owed PPI from my bank. I just kept asking the nature of the call and what the name of his company. He did not like this one bit explaining, he wanted needed to confirm my postal details, and the person he was talking to. Called 3 times this week so I called them from blocked number they said they were calling due to accident I d been in. I told them i don t own car or even have a licence (which is true) they said not even as a passenger, told them No. They apologised and said they update system. Not sure how though as my number was hidden. Cold callers beware

I had a phone call from this number on my mobile. It was a recorded message saying that the message was from HM revenue and that my name is involved with a fraud investigation. It then went on to say that I had to press 1 to find out what to do next and if I didn’t then a warrant would be issued. At this point I hung up on them.

received the same message as the other people posting here, asking to call 0844 571 5190 and quote exactly the same reference number: 778660. Since we all know that this is a big scam designed to rip off unsuspecting people, I fail to see why the police cant shut these people down - or better still why they cant administer a ?500.00 fine to the number, which they would have to pay to their service provider.

Audio text service number. Called with an audio translation of a text someone sent to my landline. Has happened before. Owned and operated by BT and used by most phone operators...

Never heard of them before today. Auto-called my mobile, asking for a Kerry Luxton. Never heard of her, ever, but other firms have also used that name. My mobile number was brand new when I got it, and hasn t been used by anyone previous to that. Anyone using an automated dialling service can **** right off, in my world, and am therefore glad to have added their number to my mobile s blocked list!

This number rang me twice in the space of 5mins, never spoke just hung up..I rang 1471, the reply sounded like a fax machine but not a fax machine. Still don't know who it is.
