A foreign caller rings every morning around 9.30 and sometimes in the evenings around 6.30 and asks me to complete a survey that will take 30 seconds. I have done this once (it takes a good 5 minutes) and a second time giving totally random answers. Caller (Tom) says a cheque for £3100 due, and something about a cancellation call relating to an Abbey (?) bank account. Calling my elderly father s number. I believe this to be a scam. Fortunately my father isn t able to return the call.
Call received 10.31 hours on Wednesday, 23rd June 2017. No message received, so I didn t pick up the phone. I don t recognise this number and don t want to speculate with no further information. Suspicious of those who will not leave a message and Dorset is a high scam area in the UK. Better to be cautious.

Someone with very poor grasp of english, call centre in the background. Said they were called Global Business Solutions, asking to speak to someone who hadn t lived at the address my phone number is listed at, for two years and who definitely doesn t need a debt reduction company as they have no debts that need reducing. Clearly using a very old cold-calling list that someone has sold them.

I have had two calls from this number did not answer but checked bank accounts anyway. These calls should be stopped.
they called me on my mobile - which I never give out - so am so very curious there... and it looks like other sites too are confirming they are ringing re PPI. I did not answer it. maybe some day when I am bored (and on good form for an arguement) I will answer... and let you all know how it went.
