SCAM. Got a call from this number saying it was from hmrc and asked me to follow the instructions. If i hung up then i would be made to pay a penalty fine. I hung up straight away hoping for a penalty fine. Really intimidating.

I received an unsolicited call to my personal mobile, which started with the announcement that the person was "Molly" and then gave a surname and company, and went on to ask about an accident "in which you were innocent". The "person" or computer voice (I was unsure) did not answer my questions about where they got my number and kept persisting about an accident. I can never understand why people ring your phone once and hang up
Two calls received within 24 hours from male with Indian/Asian accent and female with American accent. Both told me that they had information that showed that I had had a no fault accident within the last 2 years. They were obviously reading from a script, refused to tell me where they had got my name, phone number or the accident information from. I told them what I thought of them and they hung up ! Will report it to TPS and ico.org.uk
