I received a call from this number. Answered but immediately cut off!! Tried to call be - unobtainable. Who is this using my private number????

Said I was being mentioned in a tax evasion investigation and to press 1 for further information

trying to get personal info, harassing pensioners and vulnerable people

Called pretending to be BT internet warning me of suspicious activity on my connection. I'm not with BT so that made it obvious first... Was a pre recorded voice this time.

I typed the number in a search engine and thanks to others listing it was able to discover its Oxfam calling me on a daily basis. Have never answered call and no message is left. Will now add number to reject list as they are becoming a nuisance. We choose to give to charity and shouldn t feel pressured. That s not what its about.

They said they were from Virgin Media and were warning that the connections were being slow but I found the caller very difficult to understand so I will verify with Virgin direct

Called my business number. No message left on machine. 1471 revealed the phone number. Tried calling several times but got number unobtainable tone.

I had a call off this number and asked for their complaints details. I emailed them at [email?protected] I just had to give them my name and number and they removed me straight away. I haven t had any calls since.

Caller claimed I had a problem with malware on my PC and he would guide me through the repair of it. He asked me to turn on my computer and when I told him no, he got aggressive, told me my PC would screw up and then hung up.

Called me twice and hung up after one ring on each occasion. When I tried to call back I was left on hold for 10 minutes before hanging up.

They wanted to "unlock the money" in my pension. Huh? Scam.
