This is around the 10th call in a month using same script from different numbers (all now blocked). Someone speaking an Asian language called at 8am. When he realised I had answered he switched to English to tell me my broadband had been hacked. Asked the name of his firm - BT. Told him I would deal with it and hung up. Rang BT but the number was not theirs! how surprising. Number now blocked.

SCAM - home appliance washing machine. Young lady, sounded like a human not a recording, British accent, told me (using my name) that she was calling about teh washing machine policy registered at my address (which worryingly she also knew). This is a well known scam. I told her that she knew as well as I did that there was no such thing and suggested she get herself a proper job.
This number seems to be about car warranty.

This is a scam. Told I owed money ($4000) form a credit card I had from 2010 to 2016. Would not give me proof of the debt. I never had a credit card during that time period. Said they are going to try to take $8400 from my bank account by serving papers to the county clerk that is in my county. I spoke to a couple of attorneys which said it sounds like a scam.
