SCAM Number called my mobile, Computer message saying I have purchased a moblie phone from Amazon, if I haven't made such a purchase then to press 1, which presumably takes me on to a Premium Line. Worrying bit is, this number is very close to mine.
Scam. Said they were from sky and I may have offers, tried to get me to have fibre broadband. I stupidly gave my address, email etc. Just contacted sky & it appears that it’s not one of their numbers. There’s a recording if you ring the number back that does say it’s a recording on behalf of sky. Just be careful not to give any details.

I left this comment on the Voxbone SA Scam Number function, which is apart of their website. Number seems to possibly be a missed call scam of a 0845 number. The number calls at around exactly the same time everyday, and leaves a voicemail that is completely blank. The idea of the scam is to make the mobile owner not pick up, but cost them on their next bill. Even though the caller did not initiate the call, the phone company will state they did. Sounds like a busy call centre in the background a female asked for my wife I said shes not in, shes at work, can I help you? so they just hung up with no type of explanation. Arrogant and obviously up to something they haven t got time to talk about.
Text body reads: "We have been trying to contact you regarding your accident, we now have details of how much you are due, just reply CONFIRM and we will call you back". Texting back with CONFIRM (or anything) will probably just let them know your number is in use so they can sell it. Don t reply.
Call center, sounds like the guy was from Africa. Denies trying to sell me something, wants to ask questions about online investment. Doesn't hang up for most of the usual tactics, but gets abusive. Fun to play with, though, if you have the time.

Says they are calling fom BT about a problem with internet speed and need to log onto my laptop to fix it. I kept them on the phone for about 30 mins playing along until I got bored and told them they would need to book an appointment if they wanted to try scam me.
