SCAM - Seems to be a call centre as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities.
Don't know who it is as by the time I answered the phone it went off, no message left so must be scam or selling stuff ????

haha, I got The Hearing Centre. It is so funny that you got the Listening Centre. More of the same, but different I guess. The call was too crackly to make anything else out of it. Sorry, to me it didn t sound local, so I hung up pretty quickly.

This is obviously a scam - slight delay on answering and recorded message cut in, but as soon as it stated this is HMRC I cut off the call.
I have had two calls from this number did not answer but checked bank accounts anyway. These calls should be stopped.

Claims he is calling from a company called Assist Co, government backed, claiming that he can make me "debt free". When I asked how didn t he know that I may already be debt free, he said this is why he was calling! Told him I wasn t interested and added this number to my rejected calls list. Asked his where he got my details from, just kept on repeating that he was government backed. Cannot find any info relating to Assist Co on Google

Posed as Amazon, claiming that £90 had been removed from my account. Was initially an automated message, when I pressed 1 to speak to someone they said: "Hi there, how can I help!?" I replied "Well, I don't know, you called me!" and they hung up!
