SCAM received a text from this number saying that it's from Royal Mail and asking for an unpaid shipping fee of £2.99 to be paid on a scam website
Two calls to my work phone from this number in the last week. I missed them both and no message was left. Google tells me the 0390 prefix is only used for fake numbers so putting this one in the annoying "spam" category.

Received a call asking about my car accident - which of course I hadn t had. When I asked who told them I have been in an accident the weary sounding woman just said they would remove my details and rang off. Interesting that if you try to call them on this number it appears not to exist.

A foreign caller rings every morning around 9.30 and sometimes in the evenings around 6.30 and asks me to complete a survey that will take 30 seconds. I have done this once (it takes a good 5 minutes) and a second time giving totally random answers. The third time I said I had already done it and was not doing it again, as I put the the phone down he was wailing my name - ...... DON T GO! Now I lift the handset but say nothing and they ring off almost immediately.

Someone with very poor grasp of english, call centre in the background. Said they were called Global Business Solutions, asking to speak to someone who hadn t lived at the address my phone number is listed at, for two years and who definitely doesn t need a debt reduction company as they have no debts that need reducing. SCAM Seems to be a call center as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced.
