SCAM Caller said that they were from Curry's PC world. I knew it was a scam call and told the caller I wasn't interested and ended the call. If they were a genuine caller then they would have known that Curry's PC world no longer exists as it's now known as just Curry's. I checked the number and it actually belongs to Wee Timorous Beastie Cafe in Stirling, Scotland.

It's a PPI number from someone abroad. When i asked them to delete my number they hung up on me.. Very annoyed.

This number calls several times a day, but hangs up prior to being able to answer. When you try to call back, you have an Asian female who just giggles and will not state which company she is calling from. Just another scam / harassment call - this is what I thought the telephone preference scheme was supposed to be stopping !!!

If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. I called NatWest on their official telephone banking number who confirmed that this is an automated fraud prevention text alert. It was used to verify a suspicious transaction on my account with a simple Yes or No reply to the text. They state they will never ask for personal details on a text. Genuine number.
Had an automated call saying £600 had been paid on a Visa or Mastercard to a foreign country. Press 1 to stop this transaction. No details such as my name or account details so scam call.

This number has called me a few times and never leaves a message. If it was Amazon or anyone else legit they would always usually leave a message. This number NEVER leaves a message and when I did answer it on one occasion, an automated voice starts to speak and I hang up. Do not trust them and very very annoying.
Pretending to be from BT technical department who are about to disconnect my internet. I have had numerous calls from them recently, if you go along with their story and ask why they need to disconnect internet they hang up!

I have received calls at my home land line number as well as my mobile . However I do not answer these types of call numbers . My real complaint is that I have a new number as my old number is now my business line , they do not ring that though just my new one and no one has been given that apart from family and close friends !!So how did they get it ?
SCAM Seems to be a call center as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced.
