this number called today saying it was talk talk warning of a security breach I then hung up. I tried to ring back and an elderly man answered and said he knew nothing about talk talk ????

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. Missed call. No idea who's number this is as never seen the caller's number before. I've never had this caller before to my mobile number, just that I've never answered landline numbers because they sting the credits on my mobile phone hence why I won't pick up. Not sure what category to put the caller under.

Many repeated automated messages of low quality, on my work phone, asking to call this number. I have had no dealings with the company in the past, and have no debts. Spam at the least, possibly a scam.

Call every day trying to chase up unknown debt that I ve never heard of! Seems like a scam to me. DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS ANY BANK DETAILS WHATSOEVER! They ll trick you into thinking you owe some made up company some money.
