I recieved text from this number - claimed to be a Royal Mail message saying they were holding a parcel for me that had a surcharge - it asked me to use a link to arrange delivery. I went to the Royal mail tracking website which said it did not recognise the tracking number they gave. The phone number does not seem to be a Royal Mail number. I concluded it is a scam.

Phillipino woman who will try to scam and rob you of your money
Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!
Called but left no medsage. I note that the number had called two others before me.

Claims to be from Microsoft. Said they've been trying to contact me about my computer being hacked. I didn't switch it on, said I'd wait 'till my daughter was home and she can deal with it.

Called to tell me that there is been over thousand pounds transaction on my account today, and I should ring in to stop the transaction if I have not authorized the transaction. I checked with my bank who have told me there's been no such transaction. Clearly a scam call.
Phone app (Hiya) warned this was a number suspected of scamming and automatically blocked it.
O2 scam, some Indian bloke pretending to be O2 and making an offer ie mine was 40% off my bill (which I didn't believe and put phone down then 2 minutes later I get 2 messages from O2 the first warning about scams the second giving a code to access my account)

I was called by this number 09:34 on 03 July 2023. It was an autodialer with an American accent telling me I had returned an HMRC envelope and now further action would be taken if..... SCAM . Clearly coming from a call centre. Stated his name was David (Asian accent), and that the call is about my Microsoft account. I have been plagued by similar calls in recent times, and as my landline is quite new, only a handful of people actually have been given this number, therefore any unsolicited calls are clearly SCAMS
