Silent call

Call received on my landline, purportedly from Amazon regarding renewal of my Prime membership. Instructions to press 1 if I wanted to cancel membership. I hung up without pressing any numbers. I do not trust phone calls like this. Possible scam.

Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened. This number is used by Boku, a phone collection service (based in San Fransico, USA - with supposedly Europe wide offices) that collects "subscriptions" from, normally inadvertantly, "subscribing" to on-line adverts, messages and web sites. Following up a comment that this number might be Friends of the Earth, I emailed FoE and was told the number is a fund-raising agency called Listen, used by FoE. At my request FoE has deleted my number. I suggest that anyone who keeps getting calls from this number also contacts FoE via the Contact Us form on the website, to ask for their phone details to be removed so no more calls are received.

Ambulance chaser

Junk calls started again on 2Jan18, this being one of them - had again today, the 3rd and didn t answer again; tried calling it from my work phone and get a recorded "The number have dialled has not been recognised."

I got several calls from this number and last night he left a voicemail message. He wanted to meet up for sex, I have no clue who this person is or how he got my number. He said they got it at a London club but I don t live there or go to nightclubs. Really weird, he called at 11:56pm and again at 00:05am. I ve heard the same number is used for harassing people about porn, parking tickets and many other ridiculous calls.

i have used summer workers last year i dont have a bad word to say about them there reps couldnt of helped me out anymore then they did !!!!!!!!!
