Said he was from bt openreach. I am not with openreach. He said my Internet speeds are slow. I said my boyfriend was openreach engineer. He started trying to guess his name and then called me Georgia. Which is not my name. His accent was not a British accent. Scam.

Bank scam, put the phone down. Second attempt in two days. Avoid.

Automated call to say that there had been fraudulent activity on our bank account. Then gave 2 amounts. £250 and £1000. (or so).from Amazon. We have had 3 similar calls in the last 3 days. All from different numbers. No money has gone from our account and no bank name was given and therefore I presume that it was a scam.

SCAM Presented themselves as an online competition for a DELL laptop through The Warehouse New Zealand. They asked for an entry fee to get our bank card number, took the entry fee then 3 days later took more money. The bank transaction shows as Highgames.Online and the number +44753717396 4691792... which the first part I thought might be a UK phone number, hence my post here. Caller from this number claimed to be from EE network which was unbelievable due to thos callers total lack of professionalism and dreadful attitude. Obviously yet just another tedious no hoper trying to scam the vulnerable with all the brinkmanship, skill and dexterity of a toddler with a plastic sword. If this is the level our scammers are currently operating at, then we genuinely have very little to fear.

Received a scam call from this number leaving a voicemail: £700 from Amazon and 2nd charge 2000 pound through international money transfer website. We believe this is to be a suspicious and unauthorized transfer that you have never been done before in the past from your card. To allow this transfer, press one or press 2 to speak our support team. Thank you. Goodbye.

99% SURE ITS A SCAMMER My phone ID'S them as "West One Hair and Beauty" of Norwich. Caller claimed to be from O2, about my bill and saving me money on my Vodafone. TELSTAR, and Virgin mobile accounts. When asked when Caller ID says they are a hairdressers, they immediately hung up.

Banking scam. Fake recorded message saying unusual transactions have occured on your account and to press 1 or 2 to speak to an adviser. A bit of a stupid scam, because you simply check your banking app on the spot and see there's no pending transactions!

Someone offering me an available slot on the front page of Google for a month. Told me they were from Google and then when I queried that, claimed to be an official partner. No one, not even Google themselves, can guarantee you a specific slot on Google. Hang up and ignore.
