Not sure who they are rang off as soon as we answered. Tried calling back and number was not recognised. Guess SPAM but can't be certain
SCAM - Seems to be a call centre as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities.

Claimed to be Das Energy working with the Government to monitor energy supply rates and would check the rates we were offered at renewal against rates they could get from the same suppliers, but the started going on about they were trying to book 2017 rates for future renewals so clearing looking for a sale not at renewal. I received a call from 02039587974 telling me they are calling from London County Court and that I have had a tax fraud case against me. They asked if I was able to make a £1198.00 payment so prevent my car being seized and sending the police out, whilst I was on the phone they tried to convince me they are calling from London Central count and asked me to google the number and rang me from the same central London county court number to assure me. I rang London court to confirm and told me it was not them
