If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. I have just had a call from this number from Natasha who purports that she works for an energy company re our loft insulation. When I said “stop right there, no no no” she shouted at me “you need to listen, I’m from the government “ and then she put the phone down on me!!! Makes me wonder which government!!
Called yesterday saying we had a problem with our Windows 10 PC... as I am in IT kept him going for about 35 minutes pretending to be dumb computer user.. before telling him we only had a Mac and he didn t know what he was talking about.. he swore and hung up.. he has called 4 times since and just hangs up when I answer...
