Claims he is calling from a company called Assist Co, government backed, claiming that he can make me "debt free". When I asked how didn t he know that I may already be debt free, he said this is why he was calling! Told him I wasn t interested and added this number to my rejected calls list. This is obviously a scam - slight delay on answering and recorded message cut in, but as soon as it stated this is HMRC I cut off the call.
Phoned twice. It was an automated message claiming to be my broadband provider stating that my broadband was about to disconnected. As the message did not state who my broadband provider was I hung up. I suspect this is a scam.

The phone rang for a few seconds but then they just hung up.
They phoned just after 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, just as I was settling into the Six Nations rugby. Told them that my advice to them would be to leave me alone.
SCAM - call to try to insist you go to a website to become a stocks and trading pro. Caller would not desist the call, was repeatedly told the call was not welcome - standard response was to repeat that I was unable to decline or have an opinion as he had not told me all about his product and had not yet been to his website.
Answered at 17:00 on a Friday said they were V Type Solutions never heard of them so hung up

TAXES / HMRC Past Due Credit Solution, a HMRC debt collector. The call is legit but be prepared to have them not listen to you and keep calling days later about the same things.
