SCAM - Claimed to be calling from Carphone Warehouse Limited. Second call from that business today, from two separate numbers. Wanted to discuss my account. I am not a customer of that business.

Asian voice called me claiming to be from EE, offering 40% off charges. I could see it was an Inverness number so said I didn't believe he was from EE, at which point he said I could fcuk myself! Number now blocked.

SCAM The caller claims to be from Amazon and in this call discussed my having two Amazon Prime accounts, one with an annual fee and the other with a monthly subscription. She asked whether I wished to cancel the yearly subscription. I replied yes preferring to determine the account on a monthly basis. She then said she would send a text with a code that would demonstrate she was genuinely from Amazon. Shortly I received a text from Amazon which was an OTP - one time password. The man on the phone was a an Indian guy saying that he was calling from virgin meadia and my iPhone address was found in America. They wanted to get my details .

Automated call from HMRC saying criminal investigation in progress due to tax invasion. Prompted to press 1 on keypad and follow instructions. Hang up the phone and called back the number and it says invalid number. Most likely a scam

Foreign woman calling herself Kimberley rang about the HMRC owing me money from my PPI claim. Scam so I hung up

Fraudster phoning about a visa application that does not exist.

This was a pre-recorded message telling me that my account ( no mention of account details ) had two payments being attempted. Nothing to do with me, so I suggest you flag this as probable scam attempt!

SCAM - Claiming to be from HMRC (HM revenues and customers will be taking legal action against you shortly, press one to speak to our officer, etc.).

SPAM - Searched number and it's not a business. Rang back and it's an invalid UK number.

This was a call centre clearly form India. I did not entertain the call.

an Indian man said that he works for HMRC civil appeal and that I have an ongoing case with the court, he then proceeded to ask for my name and postcode in order to find my file, so I gave him a fake made-up name & my current postcode, without even asking for my house number he said yes sir I found your file. he will try to play with your mind and ask you to go to their gov website and spell their phone number for him, then in someway he will merge a call and call you from the gov number to fool you

SCAM called offering for my business to be featured in a publication which will highlighting legitimate local businesses and rogue traders (hopefully I fall into the former). Asked if I'd like to be featured as their "(my profession) of the year" for a fee, when I questioned it they hung up. Initially claimed to be from a crime monitoring unit, which was odd since they called from a mobile number.

Automated voice stating a transfer had occurred on my Visa Mastercard of 700.00 & 900.00 Then stated to block the transfer press 1 I didn't press anything as thought was a scam and the call ended after a few seconds

it;s the usual lowlife trying desperately trying to rob me of my pension pot. I'd like them to have a go at my bank, I'd get rid of my overdraft then! Seriously I consider ALL of these calls Dangerous, each and every one of them are lowlife robbers so how can they be anything less than dangerous ? If you don't recognise the number, don't answer the phone, check out the number afterwards. You can always ring back if it's kosha. Preach over.

Tried to scam me £129 for EE top up and I don't even use it so it was a big red flag to me
