SCAM called to say fraudulent activity on my amazon account (which i don't have) £700 taken from account female recorded voice so just hung up. from berlin. i thought they had stopped international calls?

Bellends rang this morning on a bank holiday. When I answered, it seemed to ring at their end then their was a slight pause after which I could hear some background noise like it was a call-centre before it was terminated.
Calls and rings a couple of times & then stops. Several calls from this number & very similar.
SCAM Warning this a Russian number claiming to be a government website to offer a cost of living payment. They ask for bank details.

Had a small traffic accident this morning and exchanged details, other driver was with Swinton insurance and decided not to claim and pay for her damage herself. Just had a missed call from this number and then a text saying that I have been involved in an accident and that they are her insurers and to phone them - very fishy!

They called me and stated that a criminal offense has been registered in your name as you were caught in tax evasion. They also claim to be from the HMRC. Don't worry they are just scammers. The person said we'll take legal action against you. I told him to do whatever you want and he quit the phone call immediately
Women with strong Asian accent claiming to be from our current supplier, my manager had already told her we was not interested, she called straight back I answered this time I told her we were happy with our current supplier to which she was very rude to me ( mocking what I was saying) told her she was very rude and she replied with “ I’m not very rude, I’m just rude” I told her not to call again and hung up.

Very bad company, kept caliing my very old mother aggresivley trying to get an appointment for a salesman to sell her some insulation, only gave up after i answered and not after giving me abuse. I reported this company homelogic.
Got a call from this number saying they could reduce the insurance costs on my television from ?7 per month to ?5. This is remarkable as I don t have television insurance. They asked for my bank details to "set up a direct debit". I declined so they said they would put the forms in the post. I look forward to receiving them. They called themselves TV Guard.

If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. i ordered an o2 sim card yesterday and since then i have had 7 missed calls of this number. I have my phone out at work as my granddad is very poorly, which my manager allows so i can hear if anything is urgent, having them ring me when my manager is sat next to me and constantly ringing me isnt a good look!!!
