I this is a search i made for Matalan in Newcastle upon tyne I pponed the number as i wished to speak to customer servie. A male voice spoke to me saying you have reached your credit please press one to make a payment, I dony have any credit withe matalan. I thought this was a bit fishy so i blocked the number. then i asked my husband to phone the number from his old Nokia phone. the reply was. This number has been blocked. hmmm was it a scam or what. this was my experience, I hope my comments help.

Says he is from citizens advice bureau and asked me if I owe a lot of debt. They mentioned that they had some paperwork about me and that I have debts which I owe. Sounded suspicious so I said No I don’t owe anything and then they said goodbye and hung up. I think it’s s scam to be honest.

Called stating they were from Currys PC World when I asked what the call was regarding they replied with "special offer promotion iPhone 14 pro for £35 a month." Currys don't do phone contracts as far as I'm aware. I said I'm not interested and they hung up.

They called about a discrepancy in my policy and asked me to confirm my details I told them to confirm decrepency and email or post a letter Called admiral and this number is NOT LISTED UNDER THEIR BUSINESS NUMBERS SCAM

Pretending to be from Rosendale's Bailiff, trying to get me to transfer money, or will send some one round, abusive and rude, totally a scam... Feels sorry for the people they will con. Insha Allah they will get there just deserves in this world if they are lucky, if not in the next world.

Spam pretending to be o2, sent me text messages also during call with a code and offered me discount.

Fraud pretended to be my bank after recent bank fraud, new my name, date of birth and address and card details. I have checked with my actual bank, this was not their staff.

I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Fraud purport to be BT openreach and after prolonged instructions on front of computer ask to download and run "anydesk" which is legitimate software but not in the hands of these con artists.
