Cold calling is never a good thing. No company/salesman should have the right. And anyone giving them info for a quote deserves their bank accounts emptying.

Rang and after one ring it stopped. I suspect this number is being used to ring numbers to identify if they are in use. Every number that it successfully rings at least once is then added to a list to sell to scum bags for dodgy telemarketing purposes. Utter scum. Block it if you can.

As an IFA I always listen to marketing calls and pretend to be Joe Public. These people lied on a couple of occasions to try and get an appointment booked with their financial adviser. Avoid speaking to them

I also get lots of calls from this number. I asked the nature of the company and why they are calling me for. The chap normally gets very aggressive repeating to me over and over that I am owed PPI from my bank. I just kept asking the nature of the call and what the name of his company. Electronic voice warned me that my TalkTalk internet would be disconected this evening and gave me the option to either press 1 to keep it or 2 to disconnect. Goodness knows what would have happened if I had pressed either number. I logged in to TalkTalk and of course there was no mention of a disconnection.
