SCAM!!! Received a call from this number and I was advised a debit had been made on my VISA card for £900 Asked female her name, (illegible) Owen. Asked her for her office address to verify her legitimacy as I was online at the time. Gave me address for BT HQ in London. Started telling me quite abruptly to check it, hurry up, go check it and so forth and then went into a barrage of offensive swearing and abuse from her. She then terminated the call.

received the same message as the other people posting here, asking to call 0844 571 5190 and quote exactly the same reference number: 778660. Since we all know that this is a big scam designed to rip off unsuspecting people, I fail to see why the police cant shut these people down - or better still why they cant administer a ?500.00 fine to the number, which they would have to pay to their service provider.
Call was dropped immediately upon answering - Probably telemarketing or a scam.

I found this number on my phone last night and don't recognise it so don't know whether to call it.
SCAM The guy calls and says the warranty on my 13 year old machine is expiring today and as its still in woorking order, they have an offer from £12pm to £9pm... I didnt even have warranty on the machine. I hung up the call, he calls back and says : Are you feeling alright? I asked him, ARE YOU FEELING ALRIGHT? and hung up on the c*** again.
