I asked if it was Vodafone and she said yes, then asked how much I was paying for my phone bill and what kind of device I had - all information she should have been able to gather from my account. He said he was passing me to his manager (diff man) he asked spelling of name, asked for postcode and house number. When I questioned needing house number he said checking because of scams. Also said different dep and just verifying. He asked for sort code & account number, when I questioned this HE HUNG UP! I called 3 not them. SCAMMERS!!

Proceeded to ask me help to fill R40 form, my date of birth and then my national insurance number. At that point I asked her to send me the form as I didn't want to give my details. SPAM - As the call took an age to connect, I guessed it would be a spam call so I hung before the called could go into her marketing/selling spiel.
Called my 86 yo mum claiming to be "the company that services your domestic appliances and boiler", I interrupted the call, asked if they were British Gas, on being told no the caller was invited to go forth and multiply.
“hey mum I smashed my phone and I'm using a friends phone to msg you their phone is about to die, can you whatsapp me on 07985152756” This is what I received from this number.
Answered the call could hear a call centre in the background then the call ended. Nobody spoke so don’t know what they were trying to sell.
