We hung up first time then my wife answered and said thank you for your concern and how kind he was for notifying her there was a problem she would take the computer into the shop. Third time I answered and he said my computer ewas at risk as it had been hacked and my life could be in danger. Received a call from VJ from HSBC in India. He insisted that we give out sensitive bank details before he could even talk to us. When refused, he gave an 0800 number for us to contact HSBC directly.

Phoned me and an Indian sounding lady told me she was from BT openreach about my broadband but on the line she called I don't have internet and I have no internet with BT at all so I put the phone down, be careful I think they want your details.

SCAM!!! Received a call from this number and I was advised a debit had been made on my VISA card for £900 Asked female her name, (illegible) Owen. Asked her for her office address to verify her legitimacy as I was online at the time. Gave me address for BT HQ in London. Started telling me quite abruptly to check it, hurry up, go check it and so forth and then went into a barrage of offensive swearing and abuse from her. She then terminated the call.
