Called today saying it was EE. The lady I spoke to was extremely polite and friendly and offered me a ?6 discount a month on my home Broadband package PLUS 1500 minutes Anytime mobile minutes a month. I was paying ?6 a month more for landline calls only so a great saving. If you are a loyal EE customer I advise people to answer this call

The caller gets the recipient to perform some tasks on their PC, claiming that it is infected. If you ask for their number, they provide this one. Received a call from this number with an electronic voice recording claiming that our BT line was to be disconnected. We are NOT with BT! . This is a scam and a fraud. It was also at 8:30 in the morning when not everyone would be up. I do note that googling this number does seem to produce a former genuine use for it, but i double-checked the number. This was a scammer., There is no question about it.
