Fraud Automated call allegedly from Amazon Prime saying contract is renewing for another year. Wants you to press 1 to be transferred to someone if you want to cancel, most likely to get banking and name and address info.
Got a missed call from this number and when I called it was to a uknown call back number that wanted my postcode
it's a company called "esave" - part of the CARPHONE warehouse - outbound call centre

Sounds rather similar to reports regarding other numbers in the 012027947xx range. Two calls over the Bank Holiday weekend. Recorded announcement regarding '100% Government grants' and if you answer some questions they'll check your eligability. Didn't stop to listen to what those questions would be.

Has mental health problems and no support worker, someone has bought a bunch of stuff in accounts in my name. This is harassment considering another company was harassing me for the same reason, though they were nicer about giving me time to collect evidence. Apparently I took to long as they fobbed me off with this bunch.

This bunch have called me twice in as many days. I just had another call tonight. I m also registered with the TPS. Neither myself or my wife are in debt, but automated recordings are not to know that as the call bot relentlessly churns through its number database. Calling on multiple numbers and this is just one of them for a ?60 debt with virgin media thats been paid. Spamming me this way is not going to get me to answer the call so either give up or get your information updated!!!

It's got one digit less that regular 0207 numbers, so it might not be a London number at all. In my case, when I answered my mobile, their system just hung up.
Appears to be scam call from somebody with Asian accent pretending to be from BT offering to improve internet connection and security, wants to know if you are using a 'smart' device at home (e.g. laptop, ipad, phone) but not interested in 'helping' if it is not a personal 'smart' device.
