Have called 3 times in the last couple of days. I get so many junk calls that I have decided not to answer and just dial 1471 afterwards.Doesn t it sound odd that the conpany name is very similar to Great Ormand Street? . Still wouldn t trust the caller.

Text Message supposedly from NatWest regarding a payment attempt and giving a URL to verify the payment. Suffice to say I didn't!

I just got a call from this number and when I answered it no one was at the other end. It then cut off

The companies don’t "get" your number, they just block-dial numbers until they get a ring tone so TPS and ex-directory numbers do not offer any protection.

Man with Indian accent. Said his name was Jerry. Called me Mrs [first initial of my oh s first name + his surname] which anyone can look up in the phonebook. Asked me if I was this person. I didn t tell him. Said he was from the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). I just pressed the red button.

This came as a text message saying you passed the credit check for ?800, we need to transfer it to your bank account ASAP, and then a link provided to cash-directuk.net for them to transfer money. A SCAM , please don t give bank details to these people I never applied for any loans at all.

HMRC scam. Told me I was being taken to court for tax fraud but could avoid this by paying them 4k. I had to go to my bank and open an account and make it available to them.

Called 4 times but never left a message.

Rang and after one ring it stopped. I suspect this number is being used to ring numbers to identify if they are in use. Every number that it successfully rings at least once is then added to a list to sell to scum bags for dodgy telemarketing purposes. Utter scum. Block it if you can.

this number calls me everyday an every night from morning to night every 10-15 mins till 8 o clock of a night time u d think whom ever it is they d get the hint if ppl dont answer their phone to unknown numbers not to keep trying !!!!

They were trying to sell me shares in a forthcoming flotation. I said where u get my number..he kept changing the subject. I was driving but on Bluetooth, I said I am not interested, he said I HOPE YOU CRASH THE CAR AND DIE SIR. And hung up ...I am taking this further

Hmm, Anonymous and Trainspotter, couldn't agree more. Well you have used MY often used words and phrases such as the call being from anywhere in the world or these telecomm...

NEVER press ANY numbers when asked to do so by an unknown caller as you may be charged a very large call fee.
