2 missed calls from this number to my personal mobile today. I have been a member of the Labour Party for 6 years and presumably that it why I was called. It is different to other numbers used by Labour when, say, trying to get money from me. Presumably the nature of the call (had I answered) would have been along the lines of other calls from this number listed on this page.

Second call in two days from this area code and it eventually traced back to INDIA!! I blocked that one and same with this one.
Called every day now from a number beginning 0208 xxxxxx. This number 0208 275 4022 today. So many scam calls now I let every call go to the answerphone and just use the mobile, this is so persistent that I called back from mobile. There was no connection, tried the other niumbers beginning 0208 received in the last 7 days - BT recording saying numbers unrecognised, Have no idea if this is a scammer or genuine - but if its genuine they are doing a poor job as you cant call back.

QUICK LOAN FINANCE and provided a website address and a London Address at 223 International House, in Regents Park. Please do not be taken in by these Guys. They nearly had me by bamboozling me into giving them my card details before they had even told me what the payment back figures were for my £2000 loan, which they had called me to tell me that they were willing to give me. Asian/Indian scam caller about cover for sky box. when asked why he was calling ex-directory and TPS registered number he became abusive and rang off. geo-location puts him in middle of Trafalgar Square although he claims he is in Scotland! this is same guy who rang in mid December but then he was using 02037 694278. treat number as dangerous and report it to Ofcom, TPS and ICO

Received call 13.02.21 from someone claiming to be from BT. Said there had been an issue reported regarding the router and it would be disconnected. Played along for a while to try and get more info. Asked for the name of the manager so I could check the call was genuine. After several attempts they gave a name of Shaun Williams! Caller was foreign. Definitely a scam. BT are not my internet service provider! It is not their router! How would they know if there was a problem with my router! Reported to BT

So far have had four calls from this number. The first call was asked to answer a few questions for a poll. Told him I did not do surveys and he put the phone down. Second and third calls were male who put the phone down when told I do not do surveys and please do not call again. Fourth call was female. received the same message as the other people posting here, asking to call 0844 571 5190 and quote exactly the same reference number: 778660. Since we all know that this is a big scam designed to rip off unsuspecting people, I fail to see why the police cant shut these people down - or better still why they cant administer a ?500.00 fine to the number, which they would have to pay to their service provider.
