SCAM Call centre. Numerous calls to say he (Foreign accent called “Oliver”) works for government to claim back fees overcharged. Demanded £130 for a Pay Sure (credit) card for me to pay tax man his cut! Refused to do it. Now saying charging for my cancellation!! I have not agreed to anything so told him “what to do!” and put phone down. They phoned straight back but I ignored it! (Total 6 phone calls in 7 days!!! ) SCAM

TAX Automated call advising they were HMRC and that I was involved in a tax fraud allegation by them. Told to press 1 to speak to HMRC. Told if I did not, a warrant would be issued for my arrest which would happen imminently!
Only just installed landline, hadn t used it or given out my number. Then 01708 301 638 rang me. I didn t pick up, then I blocked it. Have a mobile , Not used landline...
Call center. I am only using the option of 'Call centre' as there is no option for describing someone uninvitedly touting for business for the commission that s/he will receive for selling funeral plans. A better description might be 'Spiv'.
Got a call from this number saying they could reduce the insurance costs on my television from ?7 per month to ?5. This is remarkable as I don t have television insurance. They asked for my bank details to "set up a direct debit". I declined so they said they would put the forms in the post. I look forward to receiving them. They called themselves TV Guard.

SCAM recorded message saying from my Bank that 2 amounts in my bank account and to call them by pressing certain numbers etc!!! Didn’t of course and put the phone down. I only answered as it was from my area, Oxford! They have tried before about 6 months ago. Be careful.

Medicare partnership calling people over 60 to sell them the home alarm systems (pendant fall alarms). I am horrified that they call like that vulnerable people trying to sell them a lifeline. The implication being they are the only supplier. They use the sweetner of a free system (if you qualify), Not happy at all!
