SCAM: 2nd identical call today, but from a 'different' number. Automated female voice saying it was my ‘internet provider’, and I had missed a call from them. (It’s not, and I haven’t because I’m here all the time!) Apparently there’s been some ‘illegal activity’ on my account, and my internet will be disconnected within 24-48 hours. I have received numerous calls from this number over the last few weeks, several times a day. On answering the call there is silence. I am no longer answering calls from this number but they still persist in ringing.
this number as phoned me 5 times in the last 2 days, apparently it is Scottish power so they have no need to be ringing me as I m not even the home owner. they want to ring people who they actually need to ring and not people who are not interested!
Keep getting voicemail message and when I check it is an automated message but there is never a call from this number to my phone.

I'm in West Yorkshire and this is one of the increasing landline robo calls, originating from the south of England, I've been receiving in November 2020. Where it rings, there's no one there if I answer and if it goes to voice message, no message is left. Each time this happens I add the number to my phones blacklist so it's blocked if they try again.

I have just had a call from this number from Natasha who purports that she works for an energy company re our loft insulation. When I said “stop right there, no no no” she shouted at me “you need to listen, I’m from the government “ and then she put the phone down on me!!! Makes me wonder which government!!
