Text me asked me if I remembered their call last year about a funeral plan. Said he was Dave Simmons Funeral Founder. I couldn't remember the call so I checked their number turned out the number was used many times acting as HMRC inland revenue tax, Accident Claims Advisors, British Gas blocked number and reported to Action Fraud and Police.

Asked for the name of the manager so I could check the call was genuine. After several attempts they gave a name of Shaun Williams! Caller was foreign. Definitely a scam. BT are not my internet service provider! It is not their router! How would they know if there was a problem with my router! Reported to BT

One person called (speaking in Urdu) on my business phone number and asked for the owner of the business, I said call in the morning, the person asked for the owner's name, I said I can't give you the name, call in the morning.
