Seems like an Indian call centre, have had a few missed calls from several number over the passed few days which I have blocked. They left a 20 second voicemail by mistake with them talking in Indian and laughing before realising that she was on voicemail and hung up. No company name offered, wouldn’t trust regardless. Especially as it appears to me a mobile number and not a landline

Scam caller, saying they are from Openreach doing a check as there is a report of a fault and to check my emails. I challenged her before she finished speaking as I knew it was a scam, and she hung up, but obviously would persist if a vulnerable person had answered.

I'm not sure if this number is a scam or not because my card had stopped working the day before, but would always recommend if you need to contact the bank then google what their phone number is and ring that one, NOT the number a message asks you to call (for coop bank it should be 0345 721 2212)

Has tried to ring my house phone now 3 days in a row! 2nd may @ 16.45pm 3rd may @ 19.10pm 4th may @12.15pm They will possably try again today 5th may at some point! SCAM text claiming to be from a post office delivery man called Simon who had been unable to deliver with a link to a site for redirection. I knew it was fake but linked site appears very genuine/clone of a real one. Requests input of personal info. My response as always to block and report the number.

Some clown demanding to speak to an IT manager. Gave the name of someone who doesn't even work here ! Turned out he couldn't even phone the correct company. As if any sensible organization would pick up the phone to complete strangers enquiring about their IT systems ! Almost certainly some kind of scam. Number blocked.

SCAM Some foreign (Indian as usual) scammer phoned and asked Mr (me by name) I answered yes and they said they were (English name, obviously made up and theirs for the day) and from Life Insurance. Then asked how I was doing and when I replied they just hung up. HOW RUDE! Pity really, as I pride myself on keeping them on the line as long as I can.

AMAZON A lady with an Indian accent said she was from amazon and was calling about my prime account being charged and did I want my money back. I told her I didn't have a prime account. She said if I switch on my computer she will show me. I said why should I switch on my computer to find something that I don't have. She was rude and insistent.
Automated call telling me of fraud activity on my account. Wanted me to verify 2 payments, £300 to Amazon and……. I hung up.
They told me they were from Sky, our provider, and that there had been issues for the past 2 days which they were going to sort over the phone. I hung up and surprisingly he didn’t ring back!! I have already reported this number. It is the dialling code owned by mobile provider Hutchison 3G UK Ltd. I do not know the ID of the phone number 874428 other than what garbled message I've heard suggests it may be from India. I'm unable to make a connection but Hutchinson's have an Indian call centre; from a limited number of reviews it seems Hutchinson's don't have a very good reputation as a provider of services.

Very insistent woman claiming that I am due a payment because a 3rd party has admitted fault in a car accident in the past 12 months and I am due my excess back. Did not pursue the call but she effectively wanted me to complete a form over the phone and unwilling to send details in the post or elaborate on any information they hold about me. Could be phishing?
